About Sacred Spark
Sacred Spark Therapy was created from my belief that healing begins with connection. Throughout my life, people have told me I have a way of listening that makes them feel understood, and a way of speaking truth that is compassionate, straightforward, and never judgmental. My own experiences—and the moments where I’ve seen someone’s life shift because they finally felt seen—are what inspired me to become a therapist. My soul is set on fire by those sparks of change, and that sense of purpose guides my work every day.

My Approach
I bring a balanced therapeutic style that allows me to hold steady, supportive space while also offering gentle challenges and honest reflection. I am kind, direct, and deeply committed to helping clients grow in ways that feel authentic and sustainable. I draw from a range of evidence‑based practices, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): helping you understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and practice new skills that support healthier coping.
Mindfulness‑Based Therapy: slowing down, reconnecting with your body, and building non‑judgmental awareness that supports emotional regulation and clarity.
Motivational Interviewing: exploring your own reasons for change with curiosity and compassion, strengthening confidence and motivation.
Narrative Therapy: examining the stories that shape your identity and gently re‑authoring the ones that no longer serve you.
Gender‑Affirming Therapy: providing a validating, respectful space for exploring identity, navigating transitions, and building resilience.
My clinical background includes training in motivational interviewing, Seeking Safety, trauma‑informed care, and specialized work in addictions treatment. I am currently working toward somatic therapy certification to deepen mind‑body integration in my practice. I’m a tenacious learner, a natural storyteller, and someone who values open dialogue and thoughtful debate.
Who I Work Best With
My ideal client is someone moving through a challenging season—stress at work or school, relationship strain, a new diagnosis, the weight of a serious illness, or the complexities of addiction. They may be navigating unfamiliar systems or simply feeling overwhelmed by life. What matters most is a willingness to grow, to build resilience, and to explore new ways of caring for themselves. I aim to offer hope, encouragement, and a grounded therapeutic relationship that supports meaningful change.
Your First Session
Our first session is a chance to slow down and get comfortable. I focus on building rapport through steady listening and a completely non‑judgmental presence. We’ll explore what’s been weighing on you, identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and begin shaping a plan that fits your timeline, capacity, and life circumstances. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and supported.
The Work We Do Together
As we continue, each session builds on the last through honest connection, thoughtful planning, and steady reflection. We’ll explore what’s unfolding in your life, strengthen your skills, and adjust goals as you grow. I may offer gentle challenges or small pieces of homework to support your progress between sessions. Over time, our work becomes a collaborative, supportive relationship centered on learning, resilience, and meaningful change.
